Updated EOS Movie Plug-in E1 for Final Cut Pro
First up is that a new updated version of the EOS Movie Plug-in for Final Cut is due to be available for free download from Canon from 25th April 2011. The Plug-in makes the import of movie files from CF cards possible using the log and transfer feature of Final Cut, and also allows conversion of the cameras regular format to one that is much easier to edit in Final Cut, Apple Pro Res LT for example. No mention of support for the EOS 600D in the information so far, but expect the old workaround for the EOS 550D to work again.
