Digital Lens Optimizer (DLO)
Canon’s headquarters in Japan is the home of the EOS camera group, just recently they have created a new website with some of the most in-depth content on the DLO feature that was introduced earlier this year with Digital Photo Professional 3.11. Since DPP 3.11 is a free update available for all EOS users to install you can get DLO for your RAW images just by updating to the recent DPP version. Read more
Well, continuing with throwing curveballs by launching things at odd times, Canon has today announced two new lenses are being added to the EOS range. First up is a new L-Series lens – EF24-70mm f/4L IS USM – and second is a new prime lens – EF35mm f/2 IS USM.
Just a quick note for today…Assuming you’ve remembered that the clocks went back last night and you’re currently enjoying an extra hour in bed, when you do wake, make sure that along with the cooker, VCR, microwave, wall clock and your watch, you also adjust the time on your cameras! It’s in the yellow settings menu…

Hold on to your hats folks, there is a new firmware announcement from Canon for the EOS 5D Mark III….and it’s a doozy!
Sadly we’ll have to wait until April next year to get it, but when it comes, oh boy will it be good.
The firmware will address two major points on the EOS 5D Mark III. The first is the AF, the second is the HDMI port.
