Sad news is that Kodak have now stopped making Kodachrome.

I've one roll left in my EOS 3 to use up - such a sad sign of the times.

Paul Simon singing about CMOS sensors just doesn't have that special ring to it.

A sad time indeed. Proof of the march of digital and the slowdown in film camera sales. It was thought that film cameras would still be very big in the third world, but seemingly they've made the jump to digital quicker than expected and while there are still lots of film cameras over there, that's clearly not a big enough market for Kodak to keep Kodachrome going. 

 

We announced the death of kodachrome here.

I wonder what my 15 year old, unused pack of Kodakchrome 64 would be worth on a certain well known auction website..........?
