Do you want a structured learning environment where you can sponge up information and have it explained to you in a way you understand? A learning environment where we'll cover the basics and the advanced topics but also give you time to ask the questions that you want answers to without fear of being ignored or brushed aside? The EOS Network trainers are some of the most knowledgeable people around when it comes to EOS products and the techniques and technicalities of photography. But we're photographers and while we know complex things, we're simple people who explain things in a simple way.

Our Enthusiast Seminars are training room sessions where we will teach you how to get the most out of your EOS cameras. We have both half day and full day sessions available so you only need spend the time you think you need to gain the information you're looking for.

Full day sessions will (depending on course topic) feature some time for you to practice what we're talking about, but the emphasis will be very much on us passing on as much information as you can take in - don't worry, we're good at judging when people have reached saturation point so we won't overload you and risk you forgetting everything!

You will be encouraged to ask questions as we work on the basis that there is no such thing a stupid question - Just a question you don't yet know the answer to. Everyone has to learn from somewhere, so why go on a training course and not ask the questions you have?

Course topics include:
  • Introduction to DSLR photography
  • HD Movie shooting and an introduction to movie editing
  • Exposure metering - get it right first time
  • Flash basics - making the most of a built-in flash or single external flash unit
  • Composition and seeing the image
  • Camera controls - shooting modes, drive modes, AF modes, white balance and Picture Styles
  • Canon software introductions - ZoomBrowser/ImageBrowser
  • Advanced Canon software and workflow - EOS Utility, DPP and Picture Style Editor
  • Get to know your EOS camera - introduction courses to all the EOS models in the range
Course groups will be limited to 15 people to ensure you get enough access to your trainer for the day, to allow you to ask the questions you have.
